This week, I’m caking the GIANT version of BOTH a French Macaron and a Coconut Macaroon to settle the debate between these two sweet treats – once and for all! To make my Giant French Macaron cake, I whipped up some pink Vanilla cake, sandwiched both layers between a SWEET chocolate cake “buttercream” layer and covered it in pink fondant with a crinkly footing. To make my Giant Coconut Macaroon Cake, I baked some of my yummy Coconut Cake, filled & iced it in coconut-infused Italian Meringue buttercream and covered it all with some toasted coconut chips. I even made sure to drizzle it with chocolate – because really, that’s the best part!
