“Everyone isn’t bad, Mama! Everything isn’t a sin!”

Hello my wonderful fiends! How are we this week!?

I have brought you another horror movie filming location to add to your visiting list. This one mentally & whole heartedly sucked to see in the sense that I wanted to bulldozer thru that wall & let anything free that was on the other side. However physically being able to see the mural that is featured in a Horror movie classic… one we’ve all seen at least 900 times and that is the 1976 OG Carrie.

Always a pleasure to creep these gems out for you guys.

As I say to all my gruesome fiends, respect the peeps & their rad pads when visiting k! Get your creep on. -Hex O Hex O

About Carrie…

In this chilling adaptation of Stephen King’s horror novel, withdrawn and sensitive teen Carrie White (Sissy Spacek) faces taunting from classmates at school and abuse from her fanatically pious mother (Piper Laurie) at home. When strange occurrences start happening around Carrie, she begins to suspect that she has supernatural powers. Invited to the prom by the empathetic Tommy Ross (William Katt), Carrie tries to let her guard down, but things eventually take a dark and violent turn.

The film received two Academy Award nominations, one for Sissy Spacek in the title role and one for Piper Laurie as her abusive mother.

The film featured numerous young actors – including Nancy Allen, William Katt, Amy Irving, and John Travolta – whose careers were launched, or escalated, by the film. It also relaunched the screen and television career of Laurie, who had not been active in show business since 1961.

John Travolta’s career was launched by the film.

Carrie was the first of more than 100 film and television productions adapted from, or based on, the published works of Stephen King.
